Can anyone in the family understand Stewie besides the dog? Or do they just hear gaga?

Kids and dogs speak the same language sounds..not words...so to the family they just hear stewie's sounds but the dog can hear and understand the sounds and he's also fluent in English as well, to answer the question, of why the parents can understand the dog...thats my theory.

anyone on stewie's family understands him. also, checl for previous episodes if anyone understands that cute but aggresive kid (who has the mind and thoughts of a screwed englishmen).

I think that is suposed to remain a mystery.That very question used to drive me nuts but i don't care anymore!However if i had to choose i would have to say that no-one except brian really understands him! i meam if they did they probably wouldn't sleep at night!!!

That's pretty much it. Though Family Guy's reality is so fluid that there are no hard and fast rules to it.

It seems as if they understand him. Sometimes they'll respond to him and other times they'll ignore what he says and treats him like the little baby he is.
