Keep in mind the new ball was made out of a new material to make it easier to grip. How can that not effect turnovers?

the new ball will effect the nba in a good way. now, wen players go to different cities on away games, the balls will have the same consistency unlike the leather balls which were different in every city. the ball has a better grip and handle so u'll probably c less turnovers. the new ball breaks in really fast, unlike the old leather balls that could take 2-3 months to get use to.

no, the ball is the same size, same weight, and the basket is still 10 feet high, any change in scoring, turnovers, dunks, etc. will not be statistically significant enough to attribute to the ball. it may be a little different but one thing it will do, sell more replica balls for spalding

People are still going to turn the ball over... even if they put crazy glue on the ball, they'll still turn it over... grip wont effect to much at all...
