ok, i have known my friend for 8 years, I come to my dads house every summer and we hang out all summer along with the other neighborhood kids, well i have always thought she was a bit immature, she lies to her parents constantly, she through fits (screaming and crying) when she doesn’t get her way and she does things like through rocks, make fun of ppl, push people in pools and other stuff like that, anyways, at the beginning of the summer i was riding my 4 wheeler relatively fast and she troughs a rock hitting my knuckle, it hurt but normally i would have just blown it off like i always do but she had been doing stuff like this alot lately, then 1 day as she was walking home i started walking beside her and i set her straight, in the form of me telling her that I didn’t like how she was acting, no threats were made and no violence occurred, she is now mad at me because I spoke my mind, hell she wont even speak to me, i honestly don’t care but my girlfriend is telling me i need to apologize, I don’t think I need to but wht do you think??

No, dont apologize...there is nothing to apologize for, you were telling her how you felt, you cant apologize for your feelings....especially is she has a habit of doing obnoxious things like that! SHE should be the one to apologize for how rude she has been being to everyone around her! Just give her time, she will come around...she cant stay mad at you forever! She is probably just embarrassed because no one has put her in her place before like you did! I say, CONGRATULATIONS for setting her straight...she will get over it soon enough and be back at the same tricks! =)

You have to do what your girlfriend tells you to do so you need to apologize to her. since your only a year older then her (because i know your really 14) you should apologize for hurting her feelings but don't apologize for what you said. that way she won't be mad at you any more and your girlfriend will leave you alone. at least you set her straight and if she keeps doin that $hit then just ignore her instead it will drive her crazy.

apologize? HELL NO, don't apologize for being honest. she sounds like a brat and she's a couple years younger than you so your obviously on different maturity levels. don't give her so much attention she probably craves it, eventually if you act like your not bothered by her hating you, and just act completely normal as if nothing has happened she'll come around. but you were right about telling her cuz i know one thing, ain't nobody gonna be throwing sh!t at me!

I would get your girlfriend and tell her this is what i am going to say to her.........
I'm sorry for yelling at you but i am not sorry for telling you to grow up.. you hurt me when you threw that rock.
And if you can accept the fact that what you did was childish then we do not need to be friends anymore..

if the g/f will not accept that then tell her to go date her then because you are standing your ground..

you may have lost a friend but it is important to speak your mind, she may have just kept on doing this if you hadn't said something to her.

I told my best friend once that she was a compulsive liar to her face, and she is anyway. She was taken back by what I said but I think because she knows it is the truth anyway it didn't really bother her as much.

she shouldn't be mad at you for being honest. being honesty is the best thing a person could have. you sound like a great friend so don't worry!!! it's not your loss...it's hers becuz now she is missing out on a great friend like you.
