You define what that is to you, look for careers that answer your needs, then go to college and do whatever training is necessary to start in that field, work your way from the bottom up, and eventually get to be Lord and Master of your ultimate domain!

What you need to do is write down on one sheet of paper...all of the aspects of what you would call your "perfect job." For example...I like having an office with a window. I don't like to have to clock in and out, I prefer a more loose environment, a creative environment with the freedom to play "what if"...
Then write down what your "job from hell" looks like...I hate cubicles. Long hours in front of a computer. Sitting in one place. Forced to take lunch at a certain time. Forced to wear a headset or talk on the phone.
When you figure out what you want/need and what you don't want/can't stand...you'll get closer to finding your perfect job! And don't settle!

There's no such thing. Jobs can be good, and you can like them a lot, but no job is perfect - there will always be things you don't like.

Figure out what you like to do, and then figure out how you can get paid to do it. Make sure your willing to see it through to profitability. If you are doing the thing you like, then it will not matter how long it takes to get it going well. So, know what you want.
