Yes because of all the technology and violent things now shown before children go to bed are out of control and making children act this way, which will stain the next generation of adults. Quite a sad situation really, but with kid's childhoods flying out the window and the pressure to be mature fast has finally got to them and has made their bad attitude increase.

It's not you. It's TV, the media.

It's not you. But like anything else, we have the ability to reverse it. All we need to do is show courtesy to everyone and it has a ripple effect.

Ever notice when you do show courtesy, the person you do it for is really surprised? It leaves them feeling good and they pass that onto others, who pass it on to others...

What really blows my mind is when a guy who's obviously like over age 50 just kind-of slams a door just as I'm trying to walk through it, especially when my arms are full. I mean. just hold it long enough for me to get a grip on it, whether it be with my shoulder or whatever. Geez!

I am a realist and when people are too courteous I suspect they are about to pull a scam.In urban societies it is dangerous to be well mannered and polite. If you are too well behaved, everybody will try to eat you alive and spit out your bones.

It's not you. I see it too. People are becoming more and more rude as the days go by. I remember when people used to say please, thank you, excuse me.. etc. But now even when you say it to someone, you get a strange look as if they are thinking, "hmm, what does that mean?"

It is not just you, manners are left by the wayside. It is certainly a sign of a collapsing civilization.

Not just you. It has gone away. The increasingly isolationist attitude of people have caused them to withdraw from basic rules of etiquette. It's always me, me, me and I want it now.
