Dreams and desire arise from the mistaken belief that things truly exist or do not exist. With this being said, it is absolutely true that everything you can see, think, feel or perceive does not truly exist but also is not truly non-existent. So, to put it into simpler terms: everything you see is an illusion because everything you see does not have any substance. For example if you were to see a car then proceed to take the car apart piece by piece and even further to atom by atom this would prove that the "car" does not truly exist. The same goes for desires, dreams and fairytales. When you have a desire it will start by a thought, then you may have a physical reaction to the thought but then the thought will eventually go away. The thought has absolutely no substance and does not truly exist. Your physical reaction to the thought is from the mistaken belief that the thought truly exists and therefore requires a reaction. This is an answer to your question in a nutshell and may raise more questions.

Dreams seem real to the dreamer much as life seems real to the one experiencing it. Dreams are real in the sense that they are experienced albeit usually on the astral realm. Some dreams include projection. During those you may experience situations as they occur to the waking members of the human race. Then there are shared dreams where two or more meet in the dream world and share the experience and both have recall of it during waking hours the following day. How can we deny reality if we experienced it?
Reality is a dream in the sense that we perceive so very little of what exists. One day when our eyes are more open we'll look back on these days as we look back on dreams.

Hello. I think both statements are true. Dreams are real to you at the time they occur. The body reacts as if it is real. Reality is a dream also. Just at the end of the day before going to sleep think of your past day. Even if the events that happened that day were charged with emotion there still is an unreality to the day's events. All you will see is thoughts of what you of events that happened but that are currently gone forever. n if you're really relaxed you can see the unreality of not just the past day but your whole life. All thoughts. Bio-chemical firings in the brain. When the gaps between thoughts start to get bigger you start to realize that life is very real(there is no denying that we are here; we exist) but it's just that life is not what we thought it was. When labels, beliefs and all the interpretations of how things we see things fall away---the sensory input to our brains remain the same it's just we cease to give sensations and labels any meaning---we realize that life is infinitely more than we thought it was. It is infinitely better and more beautiful. There is no separation anymore. It is leela; a divine play.

Dreams can become real, but dreaming can help give you answers to problems you may be struggling with. But dreams are not reality or vice versa. All I can say is put them aside and see what happens. And if you're looking for an answer to a problem weigh what you saw in your dream.

dreams come from ur imagainaiton. which ur imagaination is real, but what u think up with it is not. So its a yes and no answer. Reality is not a dream. Reality is a test given by God. Its a very simple test if u just read the Bible and have faith. trust me if ur in hell, reality will be as clear as day.

I think dreams are subconsious feelings you have that you can't always express. Even if your dream doesn't make sense, I think that a you relieve some stress when you have a dream. No, dreams are not real and reality is reality, not a dream.

Dreams are real because its true that you dream. So its real that they are dreams. But they arent reality. Reality is a dream at times though. But it really depends on how you look at it.

Dream can be real, or it cannot be. The reality is just what people dream it to be, so therefore, nothing is real. The only thing that is real is your own imagination.

Dreams are real when you dream the same again and again, also during day you pursue them with passion.
One can make dreams reality with persistence and perseverance.
All great visions are made of these impossible dreams only, only when you make it happen they become reality.
