for that...the best remedy is toothpaste. dab ample amount of toothpaste and just go to sleep. the toothpaste will absorb the oils. always worked for me.. my husband taught me this and it's really amazing. it's best when you do it at the earliest stage.

Have you thought of using a machete? I find they work much better than the ones you mentioned. Only trouble is, they always bleed so bad afterward! And the scars are unbearable!

It's a pimple, not the plague. I think that you should forget about it completely, keep your face washed well, and wait for it to go away on it's own. Maybe a dab of that pimple cream would help! :-D

As the other users have pointed out, you might have a scar after wards, also you might develop an infection and trust me nose infections are nothing to laugh about ! If you do decide to leave it grow and then pop it at least put some disinfectant on. You could easily get rid of it by applying a bit of Benzoyl peroxide to the pimple but consult a pharmacist first.

Or do the smart thing and use acne cream? Ding ding ding we have a winner! Pimples aren't like warts, you don't cut or burn them off. You clean your face and wait until it goes away, if it won't, you go to a dermatologist and get prescribed something to make it go away. If that doesn't work, you stab your dermatologist.

Put a piece of tape over it all night then take it off in the morning the pimple should go with it.
