Recently I became part of the MSN Hotmail Beta program for new e-mail. About that time, I noticed that I began having difficulty downloading some attachments, which were blocked as pop-ups. I don't know if there is a connection, or if that was coincidence. I haven't loaded any other new programs other than ACDsee (photo manager). I also began having difficulty opening links that were legitimate, and accessing pages that I need to get to. I have disabled every pop-up blocker that I can think of - Explorer, Google, Msn, Norton, Yahoo. I still get messages that pop-ups are blocked. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't like annoying pop-ups, but even that's better than not being able to get the information I need!!

Thanks!

There is a place that you can "allow popups from this site" place where you have to enter the address of that sight. Explore and you will find it.

I agree with Mike. Download and install the latest version of Firefox. It will allow you to set pop ups for those sites you want to get pop ups from and block all others. Stop using that Microsoft garbage and start using something cool!

Just hold the Ctrl button down on your keyboard for the download pop up you want and that should take care of it.

Or if you insist on continuing to use internet explorer to access the internet... You could attempt to add the website in question to your 'Trusted sites' list which basically reduces browser security to sites that you know and trust. Sometimes it works, most times its just better to get a non-microsoft web browser.
