pull through
and it makes a bow
now go show your mommy that you just learned how to tie your shoe ^_^

Hold one end of each shoelace in each hand.
Cross them, making an X.
Pass one end of the shoelace under the other.
Pull tight.
Fold one shoelace in half while holding laces taut.
Wrap the other end around the folded end.
Grasp it in the middle after pulling it around the folded end.
Bend it into a flat loop and pull through, making a bow.
Repeat with other shoe.
I like mine double tied. To make a double knot, wrap one loop over the other and pull through.

Most of my shoes already have a knot in it so I just slip my feet in

Make two loops, put 'em together, make 'em duke it out until one has pinned the other one..and wah-la...you've tied your shoes!
