First of all if Figgins somehow clears waivers get him back. That wasn't a good move. Castillo is pretty much worthless at 2B. If you don't get Figgins back, Polanco, Durham or even Hudson would be improvements. Bench Mench until he gets hot, Move Huff to OF and I guess use Overbay at UTil. Cut Sele and Sanchez from your pitching staff. Burgos of KC or Sosa of the Braves are actually closing and are available. As for SP Sele could best be replaced by Nolasco or Lilly. As you have just one closer maybe dropping both Sanchez and Sele for closers would work just as well as grabbing a SP and a closer. Mike Cameron would be an upgrade from Shawn Green so I'd make that move as well. You're allowed unlimited moves, so I'd drop Martin for Napoli of the Angels. You could always get Martin back later if needed.

Improve your Starting pitching, pick up Cain, Lowery, Cliff Lee. Get rid of most of your relief, except Saito. RP may slightly help your ERA and WHIP, but so will a good starter. A good starter will also help your Wins and K's as well. Offensively you need more power in the OF position. It's a weak market left, so I"d play Shawn Green over Reed Johnson. Good luck.

you know...you have very little power. my advice is to just give up HRs each week and worry about the other categories. so make sure you win runs/SB/and maybe average.

you've got some pretty good pitchers that get wins but only because their teams score enough runs for them to win. bedard, lee, cain all have ERAs almost or above 5. not sure why you have sanchez and sele will not continue with that 3.06 era. try getting reyes (cardinals), nolasco (marlins), or maybe moyer.

overbay is just having a good week. i would have kept figgins even tho he's struggling. hanley ramirez (marlins SS) is someone u shoudl keep your eye on. he went cold for a few weeks but it looks like he's hitting again.

get a better catcher...olivo (marlins) or even napoli. there are much better options than mench...jones, brynes, cameron, nixon, encarnacion...

If you're playing fantasy sports to win, you have to avoid one thing that's easy to do in fantasy sports is to get too caught up in overestimating the value of a favorite player. you have to be able to honestly look at your whole roster and be able to add/drop anyone on it if there is a better player available.

take an honest look at the players on your roster, and look at the ranks of the players over the season so far vs. where they were projected to be (O-rank vs. Rank). Over time, most players will generally be closer to the projected rank than not, so if a player is playing hot (current rank better than projected) watch that player for a cold streak and be ready to drop/bench them if needed, and the reverse for players on the waiver wire who top ranked players, but who are playing cold at the moment.

You should drop an outfielder (on your bench) like Kemp and pick up a pitcher. In most leagues, pitching is the key to success. It also looks like you have been unlucky because they wouldn't all be hot at the same time like one would be hot and two would be cold. Good luck. :)

Pick up Figgins again, I dont know why you would even consider dropping him.

You would also be in the race if you hadnt dropped Turnbow, Mora, and a bunch of other top players.
