I am 23 weeks pregnant and when I found out that I was pregnant I was on ambien. My Dr. Immediatly took me off of it. So I guess that is really Dr. Preference or Dr. belief. But as for me I would rather toss and turn and not get sleep than to take a medication that could cause harm to my baby.
Good Luck In Your Pregnancy!

All women are different, i in basic terms began noticing an exceedingly small bump around sixteen weeks, yet i understand a brilliant number of ladies that get to 6-7 months till now exhibiting. At 20-21 weeks ur pelvis remains containing your uterus, the best of which might have reached your bellybutton. you will see it basically pop and sweetness the place did that bump come from. For me it replaced into almost over a week, my husband observed that the bump entered the room till now me lol. The napping on your abdomen section won't harm your toddler, whilst it starts off feeling uncomfortable or such as you're napping on a ball or a watermelon then u ought to end considering the fact which you're squashing the toddler. this is important to start up getting used to napping on your edge however, it will make it greater easy for whilst the bump is super.

I wouldn't take it. When I was pregnant, my Gyno gave me a list of medications that were safe during pregnancy, and not many medications were on there. Ambien will not only put you to rest, but your baby as well and the heart rate will drop.
Please do not put your baby at any risk. Sleeping pills are not good. Read a good book, take a warm bath, drink warm milk..they all help. =)

You could take Tylenol PM or Benadryl. Both are perfectly safe during pregnancy, and may put your mind at ease. Sleep well!

If your doctor prescribed it, and he/she is aware of the pregnancy, then it is fine to take it. I experienced sleeplessness, too, at that point in my pregnancy. You will be fine taking that medication. Good Luck!!
