How do you know? Just because you disagree with the result does not mean that the trial was not fair. However, if the judge or jury made a mistake in applying the law, you can appeal the decision to the Court of Appeals in your district (There are 12 federal districts).

You can file an appeal or a writ. You will need to specify why you believe there has been a mistrial. There are literally thousands of ways to find a mistrial.
For a federal case you will need to appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals.

Follow the appeal process, but chances are slim to none in federal court.

An appeal can take up to a year. If you have evidence you can file for another trial ...much faster.

I would ask how do you know, do you have evidence that was not submitted.

The person can appeal the court ruling.
