Is it true that the Six Flags in California is getting shut down

Six Flags announced plans Thursday to sell or close six of its properties, including the chain's once-flagship park, Magic Mountain, in Valencia, Calif.

I couldnt tell you about the one in California but I live in Houston, Texas and our Six Flags Astroworld was closed down last October and turned into a parking lot! Supposedly it is very pricy to run an amusement park and in places where the land is worth more that the park can make, six flags is shutting them down.

It is possible because they closed the Six Flags Astroworld in Houston, TX. last summer.

No they ae not being shut down but one of there roller coasters is already shut down but will possibly reopen before the end of summer. A boy died after riding the roller coaster but they believe the coaster was not the cause of death.

It did in Houston, howver they are still advertising it in California so I doubt that they would spend that money and shut it down.

You know I just may have heard that on the news the other night. They closed the one in Houston.

hope not. it closes in the winter. but i naver heard anything about six flags in ca closing
