Nowadays it seems like people are too concerned with if the person is Democrat or Republican, liberal or conservative, rather than if the person is right. Will we learn our lesson or will it take another 9-11 for us to figure out that this just is'nt getting the job done.

The idiocy that I speak of is summed up by the comment made by "Tex", leave it to a fake southerner wavin a confederate flag to make all southerners look like idiots.

Great question. It used to be that Conservatives and Democrats were just opposite sides of the same coin. Both parties were in the middle. Britain was the land of Conservative and Labor, but now the Religious Right and the very Liberal Left are like a mongoose and a cobra locked in a room together and those moderate Conservative and Liberals out there have been mice like in our silence. It's time to move the pendulum back to the center. Enough with the far right or left...they both whacked out of their minds.

No, there will be greater decension in our social system. People are more interested in getting what they want at the expense of others. This is a predatory society causing a social decline in ethics. It doesn't matter if you are a Liberal or a Conservative. If being #1 (the Big Dog) isn't a big deal, than there wouldn't be a desire to be the President. We maybe fine just having a Senate and Congress voting to get things done.

Personally I'd like to see a person with a vision of where we should go. JFK had one that set us on the road of technology. Reagan's vision ended the cold war by bankrupting the USSR. I've been told Eisenhower's vision was roads across the continent. Unless we get a President with a vision be can get behind we seem to fight amongst ourselves.
