you're right. I don't think I would really care. I mean that debate is moot.as the earth has all ready been proven round, pictures and everything....check it out its this place called NASA...anyway....it san accepted fact...if the accepted fact was that it was flat I wouldn't care there either.

Yeah sure the lifestyles woudl be different...I mean there wouldn't be a bar located on the dividing line so we could actually jump into tomorrow and the whole 3rd dimensional concept would no longer be valid as not all objects are consisting of mass and dimension...and can you imagine the OSHA regulations about the edge of the world?

Nah I don't care.

I care enough to dedicate my Yahoo 360 site to that issue, as well as to shape of the moon. But it's not even the shape that's important, it's the way people see, and learn. You have undoubtedly learned to give the proper rote response in school, but can you really visualize our earth, and the moon as spherical? Most people can't, don't, or don't care.

When you read mythology, or other ancient literature, you have to have a sense of how the writer saw the world. Much of what is written is allegorical, and is rendered nonsensical if you don't know the context that it was written in.

Worries the hell out of me. How can any self-respecting, intelligent person even consider a globe as a model for Earth. God created it flat, and flat it is...read the bible!

I'd care. It would be hard to travel if there was a dead end at the sea. Where would it lead if it just ended? It would really get to my mind.
