I hope one of these links can help you.

The following web sites should be utilized to retrieve MSDSs and other pertinent information regarding chemical or product characteristics and/or hazards:

Primary Chemical Vendors for Laboratory Reagents:
http://www.vwrsp.com/search/index.cgi?tmpl=msds – VWR
http://www.emscience.com/search/index.asp – EM Science
http://www.jtbaker.com/cgi-bin/pasi.pl – JT Baker site – very user friendly – good MSDS formats and content.

Other Chemical Vendors:
https://www1.fishersci.com/chemical/info/msdsinfo.jsp – Fisher may require establishing an account first – search is still free though and this is one of the most powerful, and maybe the best, MSDS search site. When doing product search, it is best to click on Power Search to do search.
https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/SAWS.nsf/Pages/Sigma?editDocument – Sigma Aldrich - may have to create account to search products.

Other Chemical Portals:
http://www.chemfinder.com/ - ChemFinder – more of a purchasing site but you can retrieve MSDSs.
http://hazard.com/msds/index.html – Univ. of Vermont’s MSDS site.

Commercial Products:
Better for finding commercial products such as WD-40.
http://msdsonline.com/ - MSDS Online - has a list right on the homepage of most requested MSDSs and most searched companies which is a unique feature.
http://msds.pdc.cornell.edu/msdssrch.asp – Cornell’s MSDS site.

Other Chemical Reference Sites:
http://www.epa.gov/crs/ - EPA’s Chemical Registry Site - good for finding CAS numbers for chemicals or getting a chemical name or synonym by searching by CAS number.

http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/npg/npgd0000.html – NIOSH website – good for finding exposure and toxicity data.

http://www.iarc.fr/pageroot/database.html – IARC webpage for cancer-specific reference.

http://www.pdrel.com/pdr/static.htm?path=controlled/searchpdrindex.htm – Physician’s Desk Reference Online – good for active drug substances reference.

Just for fun
http://webserver.lemoyne.edu/faculty/giunta/archema.html – a glossary of archaic chemical terms – in case you are reading through dated texts.

MSDS Material Safety Data Sheet. A spa is a peice of equipment. Not material. There will, however be MSDS on the chemicals used in the spa. What you are looking for are safety tips for the spa. Or Disclaimers.

Why would there be MSDS on the Spa?

If there is such a thing, you simply find a label with the manufacturing companies name and phone number. Call the number and ask for an MSDS.

It is required by law that anybody selling a product with an MSDS also carry a MSDS on file. Many do not, but they are obligated to get you a copy if you ask for it.

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) can be obtained throught the manufacturer. So if you had a chemical made by Johnson & Johnson, you would lookup their mailing address and write asking for a MSDS. A secondary sourse off the web more than likely will not have all of the informaion that is contained coming form the manufacturer.

MSDS contain dilution rates, saftey equipment needed, etc.

if there is an MSDS report of spas the store where u purchased the spa would have them. the report would cover the kinds of materials used in making the spa. ie:resins, plastics, etc.

The spa should have them on hand. Providers of any chemicals used in the spa are required to supply them.
