Black is goth AND sexy...at the same time.

Depends on how it is worn. A black cape with your hair done like the daugher of dracula is gothic. A black cape with a pentagram dangling between ...well....from around your neck and nothing else is wild side sexy. A black cape with a black lace nighty is just plain sexy.

In clothing, black looks clean and goes with everything. In makeup, black is fine only for goth clubs and Hallowe'en. Black makeup isn't meant to attract, it's meant to hide. That's how the Japanese use it in kabuki theatre and for geishas, to hide the natural features of the face.
No strange colours work on women's faces (purple? why?), and blue and green _only_ work as eye shadow *if* the woman has blue or green eyes.
If women want to look sexy, make it look like you're not wearing makeup. The healthy and natural look is a great aphrodisiac.

I think black is dignified, mysterious, sexy and extremely practical. Everything matches, you don't have to think to get dressed. It makes you look smaller. And when I go gardening, I can get dirt all over me and it is less noticable.
It sure beats all that silly girly pink and yellow stuff. Which I have always disliked. why should women dress in the same colours as the average toddler?

black is Gothic. And i hate Gothic people.That's why i hate the color black. And i would never ever go out with a Gothic boy because they are totally ugly and stupid.

can go either way if you just where blk dint mean your Gothic its what you add to it like the black nails and lipstick,nail polish,eyeshadow the whole nine yards. black being sexy yes! i think it is whether its a nightie or a bra and underwear.

Depends how much of it you're wearing....and if it's your clothes or your makeup. Think about a little black dress...that's not Goth..that's sexy.

both if done right. I'm a big fan of black clothes, but not a goth guy. But I gotta say, I have seen some HOT women both goth and not in black. Its how you pull it off.
