Bea_oink, I apologize that you received such negative responses to your question (now removed) But I'm hoping you'll be okay with me including my thoughts here, as I think you deserve a proper answer. Okay? Cheers!
I think it's perfectly lovely that you are concerned about your neighbor. Too often the elderly are ignored, and people are much too self concerned to bother to pay attention.
So Thank you, on behalf of your neighbor for caring.
Where junk food of any description is bad for each and every one of us, and certainly someone with a tenuous grip on health would seem especially susceptible to food related illnesses....
Haven't heard of anyone dying of Cheetoes poisoning yet.
AND - I do know older people suffer with less sensitive taste buds. Therefore they seem to enjoy things with more pronounced flavour, as it actually tastes like something, versus bland mess shoved at them in the name of a good sensible meal.
My 90 yr old Gramma Polly loves some Taco Hell. If anything was gonna kill ya... (joke)
Honestly, think of it this way, they are doing and eating as they see fit, and that's a hope all of us have for our later years!

I tried Proactiv, and my skin cleared up a teeny bit, but otherwise nothing happened. The problem with Proactiv is that the special ingredient that makes skin clear up so dramatically has been banned by the FDA, so Proactiv really doesn't work anymore. Go to a dermatologist. Especially if it's below your back. He/she can prescribe oral and/or topical medecine that will make it go away. I've had acne for about four years, and I tried EVERYTHING. But when I finally went to a derm, my skin started clearing up so much. I have almost perfect skin now.

Use either:
- The Clear Skin Regimen: http://www.acne.org (it's free, and it WORKS)
- St. Ive's Medicated Apricot Scrub
- Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash, 60 second mask/scrub
- try Proactive Solution, if you haven't already.

I use Biore Pore Perfect and I love it. I use the face wash, the toner, and the face mask once a week. I also use St. Ive's Apricot Scrub once a week...it helps get rid of the dry skin that most acne medications cause.
