As with most medications, there is always a chance of allergic reactions. Or risk of nausea, vomiting, getting the runs and so on. If you ahve a problem and have just commenced the medication, go see your doctor, there are other cousin anti biotics that can do the same actions you need.

• Contact your doctor immediately if you experience severe or bloody diarrhea and abdominal cramps during treatment with amoxicillin.
• If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking amoxicillin and seek emergency medical attention or contact your doctor immediately:
· an allergic reaction (shortness of breath; closing of the throat; hives; swelling of the lips, face, or tongue; rash; or fainting);
· seizures; or
· unusual bleeding or bruising.
• Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur. Continue to take amoxicillin and talk to your doctor if you experience
· mild nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal pain;
· white patches on the tongue (thrush/ yeast infection);
· itching or discharge of the vagina (vaginal yeast infection);
· black, "hairy" tongue or sore mouth or tongue.
• Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

Oooh I can answer this.
It will destroy the healthy balance of flora in your intestine, and your nutrients from your food won't be absorbed as efficiently or properly.
"Just Cranberry" From R.W. Knudsen juice added to water will help a UTI.
Eliminating starch, wheat, potatoes, pasta....... red meat, poultry, other meat ............ sugar......... and dairy will increase inflammation. Replace with squashes and whole grains like brown rice and quinoa (boil till soft)............. eat fish............... replace sugar with Stevia drops or powder .......... and don't touch dairy-replace with soymilk and take a calcium/magnesium/zinc citrate or amino acid chelate vitamin.
These are natural bacteria elements:
* Oregano Oil: Nature’s Super Germ Fighter
The oil from oregano leaf helps eliminate bacteria and fungi, particularly in the gastrointestinal tract.
* Grapefruit seed extract is being used successfully in humans and animals alike to fight many types of internal and external infections caused from parasites (single and multi-celled), viruses, bacteria, fungus and more! The greatest benefit is due to it's multipurpose (broad spectrum) effect. It is effective even if the causes of the infections are known, unknown or misdiagnosed. Grapefruit seed extract naturally detoxifies, enhances and supports the immune system.
* Fights infections and disease - Olive leaf extract (standardized to contain a minimum of 6% oleuropein) has potential anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal benefits. It gives a powerful boost to immune functions, fighting infection and disease. It offers a safe and effective therapeutic procedure in the ongoing battle against active disease.

Allowed to be used in pregnancy, it is different than getting pregnant because you use it!
Rarely causes rash, or allergic reactions.
As it is an antibiotic, can cause diarrhea because of death of natural flora.
