Did Super-man's creators use Truth, Justic and the American way?

I don't know if it was ever used in the comics themselves, although there are lots of comic covers with Superman in front of an American Flag. The phrase may have originated with the original Superman TV show.

Yes. Back before Hollywood became the lapdog of the liberal media and the poster child for political correctness, Superman did indeed fight for Truth, Justice, and the American Way.

And Hollywood wonders why nobody goes to see their movies anymore. They say they know what America wants to see: Brokeback Mountain, Garfield 2, The Ringer, Fantastic Four, Catwoman, and Kicking and Screaming just to name a few.

Make a movie with a bunch of fart gags and Pop Culture references and Hollywood thinks it'll be a hit. They don't understand why a movie like The Passion, or March of the Penguins does so well. It's simple really: American's like movies that make them feel good. That give them hope. About people that overcome odds and become a success. True stories.

And on that note let me just say: Go rent The World's Fastest Indian. A great movie.

They used Truth and Justice.

They didn'y use the American Way.

I think we are a more global community now, and our media reflects that. It's not like Superman wouldn't save someone in another country. Superman is not just America's hero, he is everyone's hero.

Unfortunately, it already has been. The Superman movies deliberately clip "the American way". Typical Hollywood douchebaggery.
