Mood swings are normal. Cramping, mild back pain, and mild leg pain is normal. Severe pain is not. I suffered from severe pain for years, so severe, that pain meds, and presciption meds did nothing for me. And I passed out all the time from the pain. I went for years thinking this was normal because all the doctors led me to believe it was. Then one day, I came across a site about endometriosis which told me pain is not normal, and could be a more serious condition. I researched the condition and made an appt with a gynocologist. Found out it could be endometriosis, or could also be adhesions. Which is web like scar tissue that grows and attaches internal organs together. It is caused by past surgery and can takes up to 20 years to develop. The doc did an ultrasound and found nothing. So I had a laparoscopic surgery performed. A simple procedure where the go in with a scope/camera to look at your insides. Adhesions were found and removed. Also, he found I had a prolapsed uterus. Uterus was hanging down lower than normal because the muscles were stretched out that hold it in place. After having adhesions removed, my problem still persisted. I ended up having my uterus removed 5 months ago. My situation was worst case scenario, and yours could be something simple and easy to treat. But whatever it is, severe pain is not normal and you should check with your doc to discuss the options. Good luck to you, and God Bless.

I get those too. I think it's pretty normal. Take some Midol or another pain med and lay down for a while.
