What do you tell your child, if you think thy are smoking pot?

if he/she never comes out telling you their smoking pot then actcidentally clean their room out (say it was a surprise) but still dont get angry with them. The best thing you can do (so they wont get angry with you) is to have a conversation with them about your past and what youve done..the mistakes you have made. im sure youve known somebody who has smoked pot before. bring them up in the conversation let your child know you are there for him/her. and that you will listen to anything they have to say. Let them know how you feel about it! they will for shure tell you that they wont do it anymore (but most likley they will) so just give it trust even if knowing this..till the few days later you decide to clean their room again as a surprise an find more pot...(then send em to rehab or something to get help not becuz you dont want them to smoke but becuase u care to much about em to let it get anyworse)

No scolding or anything... yet. Bake some brownies (or create your own way of breaking the ice) and bring up the subject in casual conversation by first talking about brownies and then lead into the topic of what some people put in them. From there ease into the subject of pot use and why it is bad but try not to accuse, just go about the discussion in a general way. This way you can raise the subject without directly confronting. If he/she wants to talk they will, if not they won't, but how they react will tell you if your suspicions are confirmed and then you will know what you need to say or do.

You need to make sure first. If you accuse your child and you are wrong it would be bad news. Wait until they are gone and go through thier room.. Make sure you have solid proof before accusing....

just sit them down and start out with a conversation with there likings and then start talkin about bad stuff and-then bring up drugs and ask them if them are using it if they are don't go ballistic on them just stay calm and talk about it so i hope it goes well

1) kill you immediately
2) kill you prematurely
3) terminally mess up your life
you tell them that drugs aren't cool, they aren't good, and they aren't acceptable
and that if they want to stay in your house they had better stop.

also put them in therapy.
and threaten various punishments...
