How old is she anyway???
As for the childish part, there is no reason for you to act childish like her; whenever you are sitting alone in privacy, just tell her what you actually feel about her childish behaviour. Let her first know that you love and accept her for what she is but that her childish behaviour sometimes causes embarassment to you. Be as gentle as possible. Words like 'grow up' may cause her to retreat in her shell.

Dear Miss Glam,
Most girls that act childish do so because of insecurity. If they knew what to do, they likely would. It is a defense mechanism, a ploy to hide their feelings of inaquacy.
If your "Guy" is always telling you to "Grow UP", maybe at another time, you should visit with him about it and see what he would have you do and how he would have you change. If he just wants to boss you around, maybe you should find a guy who likes you the way you are.

I would think seriously why she behaved like that and probably would ask her for reasons. Just saying "Grow up' will not change her. I would not act childish. Moreover it depends on what you are referring to? I would try to understand and then decide what to do. Spontaneous reactions may not be correct responses.

Act childish if you have to. Have fun. dont' take yourself so seriously. This doesn't mean loud, obnoxious, and attention grabbing. Just be yourself and don't worry so much about looking sophisticated- lifes too short for that.

'spell check'..try it sometime. Maybe she thinks it's childish when you misspell simple words? Do you want her to misspell things too, in order for you to feel better, or just misspell along with you? Do you see how stupid I think this question is? I think she is fun-loving and should find a boyfriend who loves her that way.

My son is always telling his wife to grow up they've been married 2yrs. they're both 20 now, but she acts very immature and it's embarrassing for him. There's a time and place for everything.
