I'm going to Cabo San Lucas over the summer break and I want to know how is it there. What's there to do besides the beach.

Yes, we had a stop there on a cruise ship and we did a tour. I loved it, its pretty and a liked the beaches better than Puerta Vallarta and Acapulco. Its nice and clean and not crowded. The city appears to be much newer and more modern than other West coast Mexico resort areas. The hotels we saw (from the outside) were nice. It appears to be a very low key place.

Went a few years ago. All the usual resort activities, snorkel, scuba, fishing. Lots of golf courses, bars and restaurants. Interesting little town in san jose
It's beautiful but we'll never go back. Every person you encounter tries to sell you a time share.
At the hotel, staff members keep bugging you about time shares
Check in for golf, the starter will offer you a free round if you listen to the 90-min presentation.
Rent a car, the agent will try to talk you into getting a discount in exchange for listening to their time-share presentation.
Make a dinner reservation, yet another time-share offer
Walk down the street in town and people will accost you with offers for time shares.
Really unpleasant.

cabo san lucas its a great place.
if u wanna do more
u can take a ship that goes to mazatlan its an overnight. n its really beautiful u get to see some islands.
n u can stay for a day in mazatlan and go back to cabo sanlucas that night.

you can do water stuff, snorkeling, parasailling, glass bottom boats and bars
