You would need to ask Jose Pekerman, the coach of the Argentine soccer team.

1st of all i need to say congratz to the german for reaching the semis even im a die hard argentinian fan.If a team loses on penalties they must have no regrets at all koz penalty is a 50/50 chance for both teams.regardless how good you are.

2nd argentina got kicked out bkoz of a big mistake by the coach pekerman and this is my point of view. Even riquelme or crespo did not play well in this game but makes a big difference in a match.

Riquelme all by himself always keeps good possession of the ball thus keeps a lot of players around him. same goes for crespo striker of international standard. by introducing cambiasso and julio cruz, it was like pekerman told the germans go and attack my team.

For me riquelme and crespo should have played till around 80 mins or over and then introduce only messi or aimar for rapid counter attacking moves.germany would have to commit themselves for a goal and would leave spaces behind for players like messi, tevez, riquelme, maxi and crespo to exploit.

well thats my view. Messi was important to play in the last 10 mins. he is small and easy to fall in the box. thats my view and good luck germany.

It was a bad call made by the coach Pekerman...He should have because he was the star of the team... But, we have to wait and see exaclty why he made these kinds of calls from the man himself...

His name says it all ... he's messy ... in other words, he's in a mess ...

Perhaps that's what Jose Pekerman thinks anyway ...
