I was told about eating by your blood type and that depending on your blood type some foods are not good for you. Does anyone know or have any experience with this?

Some guy wrote a diet book about this. I heard about it a few months ago from a friend who had the book. I read part of it, but it really doesn't make any logical sense to me.

I mean, we have the same blood type all througout our lives, but obviously our dietary and nutritional needs change with age.

There might be some link between our body chemistry and how we metabolize different foods, but I think that blood type diet theory went overboard.

It takes work, money and patience. And yes, it is known- created by Dr Adamo. Personally I never had luck with it, due to financial situations at hand. You can do the tests yourself or have someone assist you. If you are allergic to tomatoes, potatoes or pineapples- I wouldn't recommend it at all; most of the supplements are not cut and dried- very difficult to assess and digest if you don't know what you're doing. Good luck if you decide to go with it, I wish you the best.

I have heard about it... but I'm not into "diets" and such, if it's yummy, I eat it! That's my motto!

It can't be bad, can it...? As long as you're getting proper nutrition. If there are really some foods that are not good for you because of blood type, then more people would be doing it.

My mother said it was the worst diet she ever tried...and as I'm a vegetarian, I don't suppose I'll ever try, myself.
