do cowlicks lead to baldness?

i have a cowlick in the back right of my head and the hair is thinner and some of the scalp is bare (a very little bit) there. will this lead to baldness eventually?

Yikes I surely hope not! I have one on top of my head and one in the bang area and one near my neck! And my hair seems to be getting thicker as I age.I just had it thinned last night!
