I lived in a house once that had strange things happen.Things like hearing family members voices knowing i was the only one there, very very strange dreams, I used to see grey see thru bats that would swarm in the corner of my bedroom. I had freinds tell of see red eyes comming from the attic vent. The house just felt generally wierd as well. Later come to find out that the house was once stable in which two adults and one young girl around 5 or 6 yrs old lived there awhile back. The parents apparently got angry at the little girl and hit over the head with a spade and killed her

Mount Lorretto on Staten Island in NY

That place was built several years ago about 50 years ago.
It was made for orphans that needed a place to live and a place to go to school. It was all fine and dandy until the owner died. Then some other people came in and took it over. The kids ranged from 8 to 15. They were if bad -- brutely beaten and if they did not listen after that they were killed. Killing them and hiding them in the walls were the specialties of these idiots who took over. These people worked these poor little kids to the bone that they just dropped dead. As the kids were dying off they kept on cutting them up and shoving them in cement in the walls. And when the time came that there were no more children the place was shut down, vacant and eventually became haunted.
Because of a person dying in such a brutal murder the soul cannot be a piece. The kids were haunting any and everything that came to that building.
A few years back, one of the kids that was out in there was older much older now. She went back to the condemed building and snooped around a bit to see what it was like after all these years. As she went up to a basement window she heard little girls screaming. And the window was lite up. (it was dark all they had were flash lites) The window completely lite up and there was a warm feeling of heat coming from it. Then someone came to the window and screamed.
Now this place was boarded up, no one could get in or out. The thing that scared the hell out of them is still unknown. But a few days later the building went up in flames.....

I have alot more but i think this one is enough for now...
I have contact with the dead too.. So its kinda scary for ME!!

Well, just because a place is haunted doesn't mean that it's necessarily creepy or evil. I've been quite a few places where I either think or know there was spirit activity, and I've never felt uncomfortable with it. I think it depends on your point of view. It does scare a lot of people, but the way I look at it, they're just trying to go about their business, and unless they're causing problems, there's no reason that we can't coexist peacefully.

My Old House that I grew up in!!!!!!!!This place was totally possessed.I mean in my old bedroom things would happen all the time. For instants on my dresser Tapes would fly off directly at me. No one was there, then my stereo would shoot up and down the volume and keep on going even when it was unplugged. So My father got pissed off and threw it outside and beat it up with a baseball bat til the thing stoppped!! Seriously creeped me out. Then my room started to get cold and I could see my breath sometimes. My friends would come over and say weird **** happens to them in the bathroom, they seen a lady face in the mirror. One of my friends also heard her name being called in the far room next to mine; and at the time no one was home and I was at the neighbours for a few minutes. When I came back my friend was white as a ghost. Then our cupboard doors in the kicthen would swing open and the dishwasher too. The downstairs rocking chair was anouther scary thing. I really remember as it would rock on it's own all the time. My parents did not like it, so they sold at a auction. But before anyone took it my Dad carved our house number on it. No word of a lie 5 yrs later I was at a house party in the country with my cuzin and guess what?!!!!! The son of a gun, chair was sitting right there in front of me. So I ask the guy who own the house how he like this rocking chair? He said it was comfy,but.....the damn thing rocks by itself every now and then. I said let me look under the chair cause I think it might have been our old one. Sure enough there was our house number!!! My hair stood up on the back of my neck, so I told my cuzin I was out of here.Man, I was so glad when my parent sold that house. They were as well and sometimes I drive by it to see if it makes me feel weird ;and It defintaly has that Creepy feeling still. It's has been about six years now that I haven't lived there. I wonder how the new owner likes it?Anyways this may not be death defiyingly scary. But all of it is true. Spell check not working ahhh. Have you ever seen anything creepy? Later

Waverly Manor, Louisville, KY

It is creepy because it still has a lot of old hospital equipment from the 30's. It was a hospital for tb patients in the 20's and 30's. A lot of people died there. They still have operational body chutes on each floor where they just shoved the bodies in and let them go into the basement. Its it a pretty popular halloween site.

I grew up with 4 brothers. I had the room across from the bathroom. I swear it was haunted!! Every night I would hear strange noises almost like a long low growling sound!! It was almost always followed by some fumbling and shuffling around type noises!! Every once in a while it sounded like someone was struggling to breathe!! It was terrible I tell you!!

A double wide I lived in when I was younger in Mt Orab (Ohio) if you have any idea where that is. It was one of those places where if you were by yourself you didn't feel safe or welcome and even when I wasn't alone I still felt uneasy. I heard voices at night in my room. My dad woke one night and saw a ghost in the shape of a dog hovering over him in his bed. I don't know what other experiences he had that was the only one he'd share with me at the time. When we were moving out I went to walk back in the house to make sure I'd grabbed everything. I opened the door and had one foot inside the house and I felt like something was rushing at me like I wasn't supposed to be in there. Changed my mind about double checking and went and got in the car.

an abandoned mental hospital in Conniticut.... i never went inside but just driving by i felt cold and nervous and sped up to pass it faster. one day i stopped in front of the graveyard there and looked through the gates and towards the building and i could see faint glowing lights on the inside and around a few of the graves. probably wasn't ghosts but i'm sure that it is haunted.
