It's sad to see that some responses were "eww gross" and "speechless." While some people find pornography offensive, this may depend upon your definition of pornography. Of course there is a great deal out there merely for shock value or that only appeal to a limited audience. However, there are very few adults who have not watched a movie that contains a love scene. Is that pornography?

What most Americans fail to realize is that making love is a natural, acceptable act. I believe many turn to what is considered pornographic material as they feel unfulfilled in their own lives. Sadly, there own lives may not fulfill them because of our societal repressions. Most people treat sex as "dirty" (therefore it is of course more secretly longed for) or conversely they thrust it out as a beacon as if saying, "Hey, look at me!"

If you look at cultures where sex is treated in what I consider a more adult manner, there is less pornography (less need!) and portraying sex is considered less offensive. They are more appalled with movies portraying violent images.

Think of it this way- which would be an image a parent would want their child to see: Two people sharing love or one person blowing another's head off? When the child grows up, they will be a loving, sexual person. I'd rather reinforce that image than one of an aggressive, violent persona.

I guess most people (answerers) don't appreciate their parents very much. I don't know the light in which this question was asked, but it sure gets high marks for originality and boldness. As for me I think I would have appreciated some assurance that my parents were normal people, but as I don't think I could comfortably watch ANYBODY else do it other than myself and the woman I'm with I'd have to go with watching the porno.

Its really something wrong with you joe. Its sounds to me like all yall doin' it together. (I think I'm gonna be sick) If that's the case you and yo' parents need some help. On the other hand other people actin like they don't watch porn when the news did a segment on how many porn sites are available on the web and how many times these sites have been "hit". The number is astronomical to say the least. As many times as them skanky azz "GIRLS GONE WILD" broads comes across the idiot box (television) err'body and they momma watching porn. The same goes for video whores. Hey, when you think about it, we do watch porn with our parents. I still would not under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES watch my parents get down.
