I'm gonna have to say Shawshank Redemption or American History X. Shawshank does and excellent job explaining how even when all the odds are against you, there's still hope, and I think we could use a little bit more of that. American History X is just a powerful film that really forces you to reconsider your beliefs of racism and discusses both sides of the racial issue.

I believe every high school student should be required to see The Breakfast Club as a freshman. Maybe then all the students would see that it doesn't matter what group they are in, their actions and words affect everyone. Everyone thinks their problems are the worst. It's human nature. The key is not to judge others, but to try and understand their point of view. Anyone who can learn this lesson as a student has a HUGE advantage out in the real world, and unlimited potential.

Schindlers List. That movie shows how much one person can convince so many others to hate, kill, destroy human lives & make innoncent people suffer & die just because he hated them for his own reasons. It's also important to watch because most of us were not alive when the holocaust occured & we must bear witness to the tragedy & make sure that it will never happen again. I might not have lost a distant relative in the holocaust but I have seen through films, books, history & The National holocaust museum in Washington D.C. what pain & horrific terror it had & has caused in our world & Oscar Schindler tried to save as many Jews & people as he could just so it could make a difference. So this film all should watch & bear witness to keep the lives of those who were lossed even though we didn't know them in our hearts & memories so it never happens again.

All 3 LOTR movies. Why? Because they rock. You will see a friendship like no other in Frodo and Sam and an amazing group of people of different cultures band together to fight off their version of evil. It's an amazing trilogy.

Crash.
Why? It puts everybody to think how ridiculus we behave by thinking that other races or cultures are not better than ours.
Everybody is different... no matter color, place of birth, religion... we have to live with each other anyway, wouldn't it be easier if we didn't discrimitate and just respect others even if iideologies are different?
Learn something from this movie.
