when you heard about the 9/11 terrorists attacks????


I was at work. All of us were in shock the rest of the day and most of us could not stay off the internet-even though we are not supposed to get on there during work hours.

I was at work ,in Buffalo,New York at the time working at the post office. One of the employees heard on the radio that there was an accident at the World Trade Center that a plane had crashed into it.
No one really said anything as we all watched on the breakroom TV that is usually used for instructional videos. Everyone was in shock.We were all told to be careful,we didn't know at the time whether our country was under attack and we didn't know what would be hit next. Not one person the whole week afterward called in sick,or chose to stay home .
It was important that the U.S. mail was still being delivered to calm people down to let them know that some kind of "normalcy" in our government was going on. Unfortunalely the "anthrax" poison was soon released in New Jersey where postal employess were killed also.
Many people were really afraid of leaving their homes and just about everyone was on their cell phone,or home phone trying to find out what was going on.
The streets were very quiet that morning,and everyone tried to carry on their daily business of living despite the attack in New York and Washington.
The attacks in New York and at the Pentagon were cowardice acts by a cowardly people ,it you can even call them human,they are really animals disguised in human skin.

My husband and I were in a bank, we had just moved to a new city and we were transferring our accounts. We heard some of the employees whispering about the 9/11 attacks and we thought they were talking about a movie. I didn't realize what had happened until we got in the car and turned on the radio.

Driving to my in-laws house with my 2 year old son. Heard it on the radio and as soon as I walked in the house, saw the second crash. I could not believe it. I felt ill and could not concerntrate. All I wanted to do was return to school and pick up my 4 year old and call my husband and tell him to come home immediately. Unfortunately I could not do that so I watched the News for most of the day and then gave my sons and my husband a very big hug as soon as I saw them.

I was at work too. My coworker told me about it when I got there. At first I didn't know it was an attack. When I heard the first building fell, I felt kind of sick to my stomach. We could hardly get on to the internet at all, it was so clogged with traffic. I remember listening to Howard Stern (of all people) describing the events.

I was at home for the first of it getting ready for work when my boyfriend called me in to say there was a terrible accident. I came to look on t.v. and saw it and immediatly told him there is no way in hell that was an accident and right after i said it the second tower was struck by the second plane and he said Your right. I was at work for the rest of it and it was horrible

I was at home. My husband called me & said he was hearing that the Trade Center got bombed. I turned on the TV and watched the 2nd plane hit the building. Cried a lot!!

I had just shown up to my favorite teacher's class, Mr.Sharfin, in 5th grade. And he explained it to us from his point of view. I was in shock for like the rest of the week. It still shocks me.

I was just getting ready to go to bed and my dad was watching TV , A newsflash came on and we saw live the second plane hit the tower. very scary to watch it all unfold on the tv at 11pm at night that was the time here in Australia

I was asleep,my roomate woke me ,and said the world trade
center was attacked,,,I thought I was dreaming,,the worst feeling
