You miss being with him. He was your comfort and I assume you were happy with him. I just broke up with my boyfriend and went back out with my ex. I miss the guy that I broke up with so badly and I feel like I want him back. It's just a natural thing when you really liked the person.

Why did you break up with him? That is what you need to ask yourself. If you broke up with this guy because he wasn't doing something the way you wanted, then you are longing for his willingness to change what he was doing wrong.
If this sounds like you, all I can say is, you don't need to keep dating anyone who doesn't make you happy to be with them, nor should you ever enter into any relationship hoping that the person will change for you. You should love them enough to accept their diversity.

Good question. My wife of 20 years did the same thing to me when we dated in college. One day she liked me, the next she didn't. I felt like a freakin ping pong ball.
