Awesome catch but Daniel Z doesn't know what he's talking about. Stern was sent to the minors based on the rule 5 draft and the Willie Harris addition. Francona never said "that is why he is going" ... that's misinformation. Stern will be in the minors for the entire season no matter what happens with the current players (they can't bring him back because of the rule 5 and Sterns eligibitly). Sterns season was started at the MLB but was never intended to continue for the whole season... that was the Red Sox plan from the start. Willie Harris couldn't go to the minors or be dropped until a month of play was over without significant penalties due to his free agent signing so Adam Stern went a week sooner then planned.

The Coco Crisp injury caused a change in the plan for Stern but no matter what happened with Coco, Stern was heading back to Pawtucket until the International League finished its season.
On top of that, Tito doesn't have power over who stays and who goes that's Theo's job.
Coco has had a few great catches ... I just hope he gets his bat going and those wheels moving on the basepath.

Yes I did. But is shows inconsistancies in Tito's managing. Earlier in the year he sent Adam Stern down to the AAA team for making a similar catch with the game on the line and stating that was why he was sent down.

I did...Great catch even tho I'm a Mets/D Wright fan..Would have been at lease a double/maybe triple...Saved the game for the Sox

I was in heaven when I saw that, I love the sox and he is a great defensive player, its a good thing willy mo wasnt in that one!!!!
