i just bought a 1994 camaro and it has like 250,000 miles on it and i think that it is time for a new motor ? does anybody know where i can get one ?

That would depend on how much you want to spend and how much you really like the car. I use to have a 95 camaro and it only had 110,000 miles or maybe a lil less. Anyway, I personally think it is not worth it. There were soooo many problems I ran into on that car. I didn't keep mine long I traded it in!!!

In a 1994 camaro is the best place to look.

A 1994 Chevy Camaro remanufactured 3.4 L long block (includes engine heads) costs $1219. A remanufactured 5.7 L long block engine costs $1690 at www.rockauto.com

It depends on how much you like the car and how much you want to spend... If you can do the work yourself a motor can be bought from a part store, this will be rebuilt, or from the dealer, which is reman'ed. Both should be good but costly. You can find one at a salvage yard cheaper, with a warranty but it is still used. guess it depends on how deep your pockets are. Is the present motor running good? If it ain't broke don't fix it.
