Instead of trying to build newer and bigger weapons of destruction?

the foundation of American military superiority is its cutting edge technology. and the best way to maintain that superiority is to build a more modern weapons that is more advanced than their European and Asian counterparts. By these method, the US monopolized the superpower status which prevents any aggressive countries to become superpower.

the mechanical components of the old bombs are wearing down and since we can't test them, its actually cheaper, safer, more enviornmentally friendly, and believe it or not easier to produce new ones using modern techniques and technologies than to try to retrofit the old ones. Additionally, many of the newer weapons planned have lower yields than those they are repaceing.
