I hated how everyone tried to fit in and be someone they weren't. I mean I was a cheerleader but I did because I actually liked it not because I was trying to fit in. It's amazing how after high school you realize that you will never see these people again so what does it matter what they think of you. I also hated waking early but by my senior year I started at 10:30am so It wasn't so bad. The food was pretty bad too.

I hated the people I went to school with. I was intelligent enough to do well but I ended up leaving school at 16 because of all the idiots that made my life a misery.

You have to do so many things:

1) Get good grades
2) Be popular
3) Play a sport
4) Run for class president

It is impossible to accomplish all of these things, so instead high school turns out to be a lonely experience where you are discouraged from being happy about who you are. Instead, you dislike yourself because of all of the things you are not.

And about that checklist, it's all garbage. The only thing you really have to do is SURVIVE high school.

Peer presure is a big issue for a 16 year old girl like me. Also, handling school work and the tension of mark keeping is stressing for me. I also hate getting homework! HATE having exams at the end of the year too!

The fact that while you are there you are so stressed about all the people, but when you get out you realize these people mean nothing and high school is not the real world.

I hated these 3 bitchy girls that didn't even know me, but made it there duty to try and make my life miserable. They needed to get a life. Other than those 3 jealous girls high school was fine.

I couldn't wait to get out of high school! Never to return! I will admit that my Freshman year was the best but after that...it SUCKED!!!! It was such a popularity game in which I never fit in!

What's NOT to hate about H.S.!

On the other hand, college was wonderful; with so many more students, it was easy for me to find hordes of like-minded people who were interested in the same things that I was (we were all a bunch of nerds with our faces buried in the spines of textbooks)!

So, those of you suffering H.S. now...there is a better life out there!

I hated having to show up for class because I wasn't a Christian back then and all I wanted to do was cut class and smoke dope and drink beer.

I thank God that He preserved my life long enough for me to come to know Jesus as my Savior and that He rescued me from that destructive and non-productive lifestyle before it was too late.
