You have to read the book about natural cures by Kevin Trudeau, lots of information about that and all the other cleanses that we all need, just as a result of living in this toxic world we are in.

To colon cleanse, you usually have to make P&B shakes (Psyllium Husk and Bentonite Clay), and take a probiotic, and a series of colonics/enemas. Does it work? For some people, yes. For others, no. Everyone is different.

You can find all the details of colon cleansing in http://www.colonzone.org (a non-commercial site). They'll tell what to eat, and how long you should cleanse, as well as product reviews of the major colon cleansers =)

I used a product called "Internal Sweep". It was a 2 month colon cleanse. It didn't hurt, it just made me really regular. Many people had more dramatic results of passing strange things that have been sitting in their colon.
The average American has about 10-20 pounds of crap sitting in their colon that needs to be cleaned out.

I don't know but i'm a nutrition student and I don't believe in those colon cleansers. There's this natural colon cleanser that I call fiber ;)....try eating that :) ...that means whole grains, fresh fruits, and veggies. I don't know what's contained in that specific colon cleanser besides what I read from that other person's response and the only ingredient I see that they listed that would have a direct effect on your colon is fiber. All the vitamins and the calcium that's supposedly in it, is digested before it reaches the colon. (90% of all nutrients are absorbed into the small intestine since there are a large majority of enzymes contained there). *addition- Oh, I was looking at the notes I took in my nutrition class today and i'll copy and paste this here since it fits well with what I was talking about: Nothing is digested in the colon- it is responsible for waste and reabsorption of water, electrolytes, vitamins, and sodium.

Herbalife has a great cleanse. It is called 21 Day Cleanse. It is only like $29.00. You take it for 21 days and it works great. I know of a person that took the cleanse and her poop turned blue, come to find out she ate crayons while she was a child. It cleaned that out of her. Here is a website where you can get it: www.shopherbalife.com/tfward

never had a colonic but there are colon cleansing pills you can take to detoxify. Be sure to drink lots of water so you don't dehydrate.

yes, a friend of mine does it regularly in Thailand- once a year. It's been convenient for him to go there because we're from Hong Kong and it's much more accessible for us and compared having it done here, much much cheaper!

You still have to go thru a 10 day detox diet prior commencing the colon irrigation.

some other people do it to lose weight but he main purpose of this treatment is to flush out all the toxins in our body especially in our colon. For the other toxins, that's what the 10 day detox diet for.

In the mood for the hot meal? Make a big pot of veggie bean soup, divide into two-cup containers, and store within the freezer. Before bed, place a container within the fridge, then grab it before heading out the door in the morning.
