Looks like we will be there for a week with a trip to the Univ. of Wolverhampton on the 14th.

For my frequent visits to London, I would go to www.activehotels.co.uk to find a hotel. I would check reviews on the hotels from the site itself, or I would go to www.tripadvisor.com for a more trusted review. Try it yourself. I found nice cheap places for my stays always.

There used to be a Bed and Breakfast called Romany in Victoria quite close to the station. I used to live in London and when I left years ago I would go to this B&B. It wasn't posh but clean and a good breakfast. I am sure you can look it up in some travel section for B&Bs in London.

Get a travel guide for London, and see what they recommend. That's what my friends did when we all went a few years ago.

And check out the walking tours - I really liked the Jack the Ripper tour at night.
