lower back is good but i think maybe ankles look good and tattoos on the butt. Tattoos are way to permanent for me the best thing to do when worrying about where a tattoo looks the hottest is.. have it done in henna ink first. Henna ink is painted on the flesh and only stays there for 2 weeks so if you don't like where it is you can always change it.

You are absolutely correct, dude...lower back is sexist on a woman, something wide like a HD tattoo or something that stretches across the lower back...of course it's just a prelude to the beautiful area below that..hehe

The lower back is way too trendy, and the exact opposite of what a tattoo is supposed to be. I'd say the hip bone

I have one on my lower calf and one on my left shoulder(on my back) I personally think a tattoo on a woman's back is very hot!!! And on a guy I would have to say that if they have great arm's then the arm. They are also great on guy's that have wonderful shoulder's putting a tat between a pair of great shoulder blades is wonderful

I guess it's all in what the individual thinks is hot. I for example have a rose on the outside of my right ankle, a butterfly on the inside of the same ankle. Flowers on my wrist, A treble clef with a rose on my shoulder blade, a dolphin at the small of my back and Tinkerbell on the inside of my left ankle. For a guy, I think its all in the creativity of the art. But definately on a well toned arm.

The lower back, just before the bottom, right in the curve. Very sexy on women. On men the neck, arms and sometimes the chest.

lower back suposedly sends messages of "tramp" or at least that is what I hear but on a girl there is really no *hot* place for a tatoo but the stomach is good if a girl has the body for it --like below the belly button i mean

Guys - probably the shoulder, on the upper arm or the back
It really depends on what it is though, too...
