The easiest to install plug into your USB port.

Buy at any computer or electronics store (circuit city, best buy, comp USA, ) or even places like Staples or Office Depot.
For a laptop computer you can pay anything from $15 to about $100 for the card. Usually just slides into the PCMCIA slot. They pretty much self install with a CD that comes with the card.
Not sure of the prices for a desktop card, but probably the same or cheaper than the laptop cards. These would be inserted into a card slot inside the tower.

You can find them at wal-mart or eny electronic store. they cost about $40. You should have a slot on the outside of your laptop.
