Wow the guy above me provided a great link on how to change out your housing.. please remember your L7 is a beautiful & expensive phone and once you've attempted to change it, you completely void and warranty you may have, with your carrier or Motorola. If you mean where the battery is stored, there's a button right below the joint that opnes it, on mine it is silver. It is in the crack of the joint, use a coin and press downward frm backside at joint. If you are getting dust between the two screens on display face, that part doesn't come off to expose the screen.
