i formated my pc and lost the printer connection, now i download driver and how do i use it..

You can download the driver program for your operating system and then run it. It will tell you what to do.

connect your printer to your PC, press the power button, insert your HP installation CD, and wait for installation wizard, if you can't see the wizard, press start, look for run, then browse, look cd rom drive, double click the drive look for "exe", press ok, much better if you look for the manual.
