YES !
I hope I don't appear closed-minded or bigoted, but,
Bush doesn't care about people, the environment, world peace, or the image and safety of Americans.
He only cares about Big Business and Oil.
He should be impeached. Cheney, too.
Bring on John Kerry or another Dem.
John would've worked with European nations to get US out of Iraq and Afghanistan. This would've kept world sympathy with us after 9/11. Now, most Arab/Muslim countries and many other countries are not sorry for us and consider US the aggressor, which we are.
Sometimes I feel like we are like Goliath, and the terrorists are David. David is fast-moving, ingenious, and accurate.
Goliath is slow-moving, cruel, and stupid, and vents his anger upon the wrong person.
We are very vulnerable to an attack on any of our utilities that make us comfortable in our homes: electric, natural gas, water.
Gasoline - vulnerable.
Imagine that only ONE of these were cut off.
It is not difficult to cut off (permanently or temp.) even 2 of these at the same time. Much suffering and many deaths.
Yes, I feel that we are getting deeper and deeper, and not much is being done fast enough.

Yes, I think everyone has felt that before to some extent. It can be incredibly difficult to get others to see things from your point of view, especially if they are not seeing what you see in the first place. Depending on the type of problem(s) you are referring to, there are almost certainly people who would or do understand, even if it doesn’t seem that way.
In my own experience:
I sometimes feel completely disillusioned with our world. I reflect about environmental destruction, health care, the Middle East, corruption and how man is such a fallible creature. I sometimes wonder if I am the only one who sees what I see. Although I do have friends that are like-minded and therefore sympathetic to the perceived problem, it certainly would not be hard for one to understand how I or someone else might feel like they’re the only ones to seem to “get it”: the problem that is, whatever the issue.

Every day... I lost all of my friends when I had my daughter and there is never anyone there when I feel like I'm having a nervous breakdown, so I definately know what you are talking about.

all the time. they don't listen because they don't know what to say or don't have the courage to stand up for what's right. believe it or not, there are people who believe that ignorance is bliss. or that if they ignore it then it will go away. sounds stupid, but it's true.
