Well officially, Dega is the biggest track, but they run restrictor plates on that baby..so it doesn't get the highest speeds. It is a 2.66 tri-oval race track, and actually holds the record for the Cup series fastest race. In 1997, winner, Mark Martin put down a 188.354 mph lap. Not the fastest lap ever recorded, but the fastest in a race.
Talladega is also considered to be the most competitive track in the Nascar circuit. It hols the record for the most lead changes of 75 during the May 6 race in 1984.
However, with restrictor plates the guys do not put down that fastest laps of the season there very often anymore...

Fastest..During the season they clock the highest speeds at Atlanta Motorspeedway. It has been ranked as the fastest since it's reconfiguration in 1997.

Back in 2005 they did a pole of the driver's in which something like 20% ranked Atlanta as their favorite. They can run side by side at 200 MPH and love it. So do the fans..

Talladega at 2.6 miles is the biggest, longest oval or tri oval and if cars were allowed to run without restrictor plates it would hands down be the fastest. Before restrictor plates were mandated by NASCAR Talladega was always the fastest track faster even than Daytona, a couple of years back Rusty Wallace was doing some unrestricted testing at Talladega & ran a lap that averaged over 225 mph. Rusty reported that he did not believe that cup cars could safley run Talladega without plates.

The fastest track can be a tie between Daytona (speeds excess 190 MPH), and Talladega (speed excess 190 MPH). The longest track is Talledega at 2.66 miles

I believe that would be Talledega. It's a restrictor plate track due to the fact that they could do upwards of 200 on it and drivers were getting hurt there.

Its a fact that Talladega is the largest NASCAR raced track.

But it depends on wat u mean by fastest; Cuz Pocono has extremely high speeds by the time u reach turn 1. But overall, I would say Michigan is faster than Daytona, Talladega, and Atlanta.
