All government employees are miserable. They are not appreciated by their coworkers or bosses. And true, they will not get fired!

I used to think this too, my god how I hated going to the DMV. But it depends. If it's a more urban, run-down area, people tend to be crankier because the customers are crankier. If it's a suburban DMV, they can be pretty nice. My DMV is AWESOME but the other ones in surrounding towns are just.. horrendous.

I used to think that, but since I moved here I have found my little local DMV to be quite fast, and the people actually have good attitudes, and enjoy helping people. I was amazed.

Not always. The guy that took my picture for my license a few years ago was quite cheery and polite. Great guy. Also, they might be rude because they have to deal with rude people all day. It's amazing how we humans treat each other sometimes.

I'm beginning to think so, I think they feel they can get away with it because they work for the state. The service they provide is necessary so no consequences.
Either that or everyone has a bug implanted up their asses upon hire.

Yes... they are always @ssholes!!! They're just miserable because that's all they'll be doing their whole lives... working behind a desk. They're about to go postal!!

My sister had a nice lady that was testing her for her license.
Maybe not all of them.
