i own the 2005fpw which is the same thing minus the hd crap but uhmm ya its awesome for games, ive played doom 3, half life 2, and fear with no problems, u just will need a good video card to pump out the huge res at good fps, i have a 7800gtx and do fine. but its amazing for movies, just old games will be stretched to fit the res, newer games have settings to change the aspect to ration to 16:10 which is wat the monitor uses

Nope I would go with a monitor that is much quicker in the resolutions. If you are a true gamer you would not be caught dead with that one expecally if you are paying top dollar for the video card

It will be great for ordinary PC tasks. It will be decent for most video. It will only be fair for fast-paced games and action video.

If you're a die-hard gamer, CRT is the only way to go right now.
