When she knows all your deepest darkest secrets, and still loves you anyway. When she forgives you for every stupid thing you've done to her. When you move cross-country with her and lose everything you've ever had, except for her friendship. When you can not talk for four months, and pick up the conversation right where you left off. When you can't imagine life without her.

Bump into a big black man. When he goes to beating your a**, you'll know if your friend is your best friend or just an acquaintance. If your friend ever bumps into that black man and you jump in, if your friend just stands there watching, he's not your best friend, but someone who's a** you need to kick yourself. Possibly after you dispose of the big guy.

When she emails you ALOT like 50 times and only goes to work just so she can email you and tells you how appreciative and thankful she is for you to be her friend. You guys share everything even deep dark secrets.

when you can tell the person anything personal, and they understand you and don't gosspip about you. whent the person confides and in you, and you feel comfortable talking about anything pretty much with them. when they put aside their own desires and wants to help you, or put aside their freetime to do something with you. even if they don't do all of those things, if you feel comfortable cofiding in them, and them confiding in you, then that's what i consider a best friend.

When you feel like you can tell him/her anything without any regrets when you are in a very tight situation and he/she is the only one to bail you out or is the only one you can count on to bail you out
