She has been dating this guy for like 4months. She is only 16. She doesnt need to ruin her damn life. This guy will break up with her shortly after I know. She is(her family anyways) christian and they've taught her to wait until marriage. But yeah, shes thinking of doing it...any tips on convincing her not to?

I hope I can help. Ok if she is Christian and if she fornicates, she'll feel like crud (spiritually) and guilty. God has a way of layin it hard on us Christians if we fornicate. I have friends that didn't wait till marriage and they felt soooo guilty with regret! It even struggled their marriage a bit.

Not enough? Regret and guilt will get to her later in life. Tell her it's best to wait until you meet and know a guy long enough to know that you will spend the rest of your life with him.

Still not enough? Tell her that guys that age are not as mature as teen girls are. They're still hormone crazed and most of the time just want to do it for brief pleasure. No matter how many times they tell you they love you.

Still not enough? Tell her that a study has been done that people who do wait till marriage to have that intimacy with their spouse are a lot happier with their marriage and love life then those that don't.

Hope this helps sweetie. =)

Apparently she knows right from wrong. She sounds like she even has christian upbringing. If she has never thought about having sex with a boyfriend until now, then she must have really fallen for him, or thinks he is the one. What you can worn her of is std's, hiv, clamydia, clamydia is the number one cause of cervical cancer. Pregnancy. If facts don't get to her, buy her a life like baby doll and set a schedule on paper that she has to stick to to take care of her child. If she wants to go out on a friday nite and have fun and can't afford to pay a baby sitter, then she has to stay home and tend to her child. When she wants to go to school, make her check into childcare. Every thing needs to be as if that baby doll is her real child. When she finds out what time and care is involved she may change her mind. Also tell her that she needs to think of doing something that is a sin. And if she wants to please God, then she should wait. That this young boy may not be who God has planned for her to spend the rest of her life with. Good Luck, I hope you can convince her.

Ask her. What would she do if he was never in her life again? What would happen if a kid happens? Keep asking her these what-ifs.

If all else fails, be a snitch and tell the parents. An angry friend is much better than a friend who has ****** up her life.

Chances are that if she's going to do it, she's going to do it, regardless of what she says to you when you try to convince her otherwise. Do what you can to convince her if that's what you will, but if she does it anyway, just don't be the asshole who says "I told you so" when the guy breaks up with her.

You can't convince her.She will do what she want's.Just be there for her when/If she gets her heart broken. Alot of girls have sex at 16 but that doesn't mean it's the right time.

If her family's Christian, I'm sure she's heard it all already. If you've tried explaining what you think and she won't listen to logic, then there's really nothing you can do.

Pray. Ask God for a scripture. Look for it. Pray like you've never prayed before.

It works. I've seen it.
