Download hide ip it changes ur ip and u can change it again if u want. The link takes u to a trial version but if u have a p2p search for it there and u can get the full version I got it on limewire well try this trial first before u decide it really worked for me. And hey the good thing is no need to restart or shut down to change r start it u just control it urself.

If you are using DHCP, which most of us are, you can do the following:

Open a command prompt
Type "ipconfig /renew"

You will momentary lose IP address and you will get another one issued. One thing though, many ISPs re-issue you the same address. In that case, you can do the following:

Open a command prompt
Type "ipconfig /release"
Wait for a while
type "ipconfig /renew"

If that doesn't work, you can do the following:

Shutdown your machine
Unplug the power from your cable modem
Wait for a while
Plug it back up again
Reboot your computer

If you have a static address, or your ISP is assigning IP addresses per your cable modem's MAC address, then there is no way to change it unless you call the ISP.

if you have a fixed IP Address then only your ISP can change it

if you have a DHCP assigned IP run this command just before you stop using the computer for a while

ipconfig /release

and the next time you boot up you might get another IP address if your old one has been given to another computer

Additional point after reading other answers:
Once assigned the address is normally just reassigned each time you boot so you need to run the command to drop the old address and if you request another too soon you will probably get the same address as before

your IP address is assigned to you by your ISP. Most ISPs will give you a different IP each time you connect to the internet (unless you pay extra for a static IP). You might try disconnecting your cable modem and then connecting it again later with the hope that someone else took your IP while you were disconnected and you get a new one.
