I've thought about this several times. The first thing that comes to mind is homeless people. I've asked around, read up on the subject, and from what I can tell, one of the main reasons that many people are homeless is that they cannot gain employment. To gain employment, employers want an address, phone number where they can be reached. Homeless individuals don't have these things, beause they need employment to get them. A Catch-22.

I would start in one city. I would buy an old hotel or apartment complex and renovate it. Once it was done, I would contact local shelters and advertise. Individuals who are homeless would be able to come and register, gain shelter and a valid address and phone number. Once they were on their feet, having gain employment and the ability to sustain themselves, they would transistion out, and be asked to donate a small portion of their time every month to the building.

I know... its a dream, but its my dream.

I would buy an island and invite all the people I liked to live with me in paradise. We would all drink rum, smoke stupid amounts of weed, run around naked while listening to Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffett. I'd start a foundation to help other people quit being responsible and leave their jobs and life to come and live on Stoner Island. Sorry, but the homeless can stay homeless, and I really think anyone who says otherwise is lying. Maybe I'll go to hell for that, but it's better to be first in hell then second in heaven.

I'd make sure that I and all of those closest to me had the best lives ever.
And set up some cancer research foundation. If I were the richest person on the planet I'm sure I could pay someone enough to get on the ball and find a cure or vaccine.

i'll set my family up for a long life of priviledge and luxury...i would contribute a significant portion to my church and i would buy all the stocks and shares of good companies to ensure good income, put the money to work, i would buy many many properties and rent them out for a monthly rental income and i would kick back and relax

i would also refurbish my house with a snooker room. plasma tvs in every room ( inclusive of toilets), gaming rigs with the latest computing equipment, construction of entertainment wings with bowling alleys inside, indoor heated swimming pool and a huge glass ceiling.

ok i know taht the poor people needs money but you ca`t just give them money because like the chinese says (even they suck they have smart things to say) "do not give a fish to a man, tech him how to fish" so i would`t give money i would invert in all the poor country's like africa for example so they have infrastructure and they can start working and earning the daily bread

I would use more than half of the money to help other people. All while living in the lap of luxury myself, or course!
